If you’ve ever found yourself thinking…
“Is this it?”
Feeling stuck in the same routine…
Or ending the day wondering, “Why does my life feel so… blah?”
For so many busy moms, the issue isn’t that you’re not doing enough. It’s that you’ve been doing all the right things… for a version of life that no longer fits.
And when you’re stuck in that cycle, everything starts to feel heavy—your work, your routines, your energy, even the things that used to bring you joy.
But here’s the good news: You don’t need to blow up your life to feel better.
You just need a new way forward.

Show Notes: How to Get Your Energy, Purpose, and Joy Back as a Busy Mom
Hey, hey friend! Welcome to Episode #292 of The Secrets of Supermom Show!
The “Groundhog Day” Feeling No One Talks About
You wake up.
Get the kids ready.
Go to work.
Handle everything and everyone.
Come home.
Do it all again.
And then tomorrow?
Same thing.
At first, you might tell yourself:
“It’s just a busy week.”
“Things will slow down soon.”
But deep down… you know.
Nothing is changing.
This is what so many high-achieving moms experience—and it has a name:
👉 The Groundhog Day cycle
It’s not that your life is “bad.”
It’s that it feels repetitive, draining, and disconnected from what you actually want.
Why High-Achieving Moms Feel This Way
Here’s the truth most people don’t talk about:
You were really good at reaching your goals.
Career? ✔️
Family? ✔️
Home? ✔️
You did everything you were supposed to do.
But no one ever asked:
👉 “What happens after you get there?”
So you keep pushing.
Keep achieving.
Keep doing.
But without direction… it starts to feel empty.
Not because you’re ungrateful.
But because you’ve outgrown the version of life you built.

The Burnout You Don’t Always Notice
When most people think of burnout, they picture total exhaustion.
But for busy moms, it often looks like:
- Snapping more than you want to
- Feeling constantly irritated or overwhelmed
- Wanting space from your family (and then feeling guilty about it)
- Reaching for things like wine, scrolling, or snacks just to “take the edge off”
- Feeling like you’re always behind—even when you’re doing a lot
Sound familiar?
This is the kind of burnout that sneaks in slowly.
And the hardest part?
You start to think it’s just normal.
Why “Doing More” Won’t Fix It
When things feel off, most of us try to fix it the only way we know how:
👉 Do more
👉 Try harder
👉 Be better
But that’s what got you here in the first place.
More routines won’t fix it.
More productivity hacks won’t fix it.
More pressure definitely won’t fix it.
Because this isn’t a time problem.
It’s an alignment problem.
The Simple Shift That Changes Everything
What if instead of asking…
“How do I do more?”
You asked:
👉 “What do I actually want now?”
That’s where things begin to change.
In this week’s episode, I’m joined by Wendy S. Meadows—attorney, life coach, and author of Sparkle & GRIT—and we talk about what it really looks like to move out of burnout and back into a life that feels like you again.
She shares a simple but powerful framework:
👉 Sparkle + Grit
- Sparkle = the inspiration, the desire for more, the thing that lights you up
- Grit = the small, consistent steps that move you forward
And here’s the key:
You need both.
Because so many moms are living in pure grit—pushing, working, doing—without any sparkle left.
Imagine This Instead…
What if…
You woke up feeling excited about something again
Your days didn’t feel like a repeat on autopilot
You had energy—not just for your responsibilities, but for you
You felt aligned with your life… instead of stuck in it
That’s what this episode is all about.
And the best part?
It’s not about making massive changes.
It’s about small shifts that help you reconnect with what actually matters—so your life starts to feel different again.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, burned out, or like something is missing…
This is your reminder:
👉 You’re not broken
👉 You’re not ungrateful
👉 You’re just ready for something more
And that’s a really powerful place to start 💛
