Nationally board-certified school counselor and a licensed mental health counselor, Phyllis works with kids and families in private practice at The Chrysalis Group and serves as the Consulting Counselor at Landon School, in Bethesda, Maryland.
Phyllis also is an educational consultant, journalist, and author. She wrote the bestselling books “Middle School Matters” and “Middle School Superpowers” (Hachette Books) and is a frequent contributor to The Washington Post.
