I am thrilled to bring you today’s show with Dr. Kaylee Hackney. Kaylee and I somehow met on Instagram, we are not even sure how, but I am so glad that we did. She is now one of my favorite brilliant mom bosses. She is doing research that impacts all of us including pregnancy and miscarriage in the workplace, work-life balance, and work-family guilt. I have had the pleasure of not only hearing about her research on her podcast but reading her actual papers. For this research nerd, this stuff is heaven!
Dr. Kaylee Hackney is an Assistant Professor at the Baylor University Hankamer School of Business. She teaches Leadership and Organizational Behavior and studies the challenges employees face when navigating work and family. Her research has been published in top academic publications such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and featured in Forbes, Businessweek, and Psychology Today. Kaylee lives in Waco, Texas with her husband and two children (ages 6 and 3).
