About Our Guest: Cari Fund

From Cari:

My mission is to inspire mothers to be the woman they were born to be and perhaps the parent they never had. To inspire fellow cycle breakers to turn their pain into power and shift to more positive parenting. To know that even one person was inspired to break the cycle of their own generational trauma, shed their pain and shame and become the mother or woman they were born to be, keeps me sharing. I want moms to win! I want kids to win!

About Cari:

Cari was born in West Virginia and grew up on a horse ranch. She has a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition & Foods from West Virginia University. Cari has worked in the beauty industry in New York City for over a decade, building brands, working behind the scenes, and even developing and selling her own skin care line. Recently Cari worked in corporate social media management for six years with clients in beauty, fashion, and restaurant. She has two titles, Fake Perfect Me (2010) and For Internal Use Only (2012).

Cari currently lives in Miami Beach with her husband, her two dogs and is a full-time helicopter mom to her daughter and son. For the past eight years, she’s worked incredibly hard to juggle it all and without family help or a nanny. She’s mastered making a glamorous life look simple, but behind the scenes it’s a sh*t show like most families. Cari doesn’t care about the “norms” or what people say she should do. She does it her way, always with the best interests of her kids. Living in Miami while staying out of the sun. Balancing mom friends and their secrets. Attending A-list charity events (which she hates by the way), being full-time school mom, attending PTA meetings, keeping up with constant extracurricular activities, and her attention to the details, all while having two amazing and fearless kids. Most days you’ll find her in workout clothes, a mom bun, and eating lunch in her car.
